Career
Dr. Michael R. Mroß, born on March 30, 1967 in Querfurt, has had an impressive career in medicine. After gaining his higher education entrance qualification at the Martin Luther University in Halle and completing his basic military service, he began his studies in human medicine in Bucharest in 1986, which he continued and completed at the Charité in Berlin. He also completed his specialist training in internal medicine at the Charité, where he also specialized in haematology, nuclear medicine, sonography and endoscopy.
In 1998, Dr. Mroß received his doctorate from the Humboldt University in Berlin with a dissertation on Klatskin tumors. Two years later, he qualified as a specialist in internal medicine. His professional career took him through various renowned clinics, including as senior physician and head of the endoscopy department, until he finally opened his own specialist practice for gastroenterology in Berlin Karlshorst in 2006. There he concentrates on endoscopy, chronic inflammatory bowel diseases and hepatology.
